Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) - East Timor (ET)
Vernacular Language Dictionaries (Kamus)

The NTT/ET region shown below is linguistically quite complex. The Ethnologue: Languages of the World and the 1997 Guide to the languages and people of Nusa Tenggara detail 84 separate languages and numerous dialects in the area. Many languages are known by more than one name and some names in use are offensive to the speakers of the language. In time this site will list alternate names but for now, only one or two of the primary names have been listed.

This site provides a host or links to vernacular dictionaries (kamus) in the NTT/ET area as indicated by the map below. Presently we are restricting the scope of these dictionaries to the immediate area but we would also be willing to host other dictionaries from the Malay influenced world.
